From China with Love

Who names their kid Olilip?

In case of emergency need for creepy, break glass.

"TOYS: The Best Welcome Gifts for the Children"

Especially when they involve copyright infringement of Kenshin Himura. I almost bought this for Sarah K because it was pink and matched Kenshin's kimono. Then I realized I didn't know how to get it home without the cheap plastic pink-sheathed katana getting squished, so she'll have to settle for a photo.

I love the creepy doll under glass thing. May have to install one of those in my office.

If you want that specific creepy doll, I can probably find the address. ;)

That creepy doll reminds me of something Mr. B. found in the house he was fixing up.

They took all the cabinets and things out of the kitchen in order to get the room ready to paint, and behind one of the cabinets, in a recess in the wall, there was a framed photo of a little girl with eighties [or maybe early nineties] hair. The guys thought it was really creepy; I thought it was hilarious.

Your pictures are made of awesome, and nearly as satisfying!

And!

I love the Jackie Chan mural! I had no idea that Rush Hour was about pandas!

We told you about finding the picture behind the old mirror in the Los Angeles house, right?

Sarah K said...

No! That's awesome. Because Mr. B. corrected me and they didn't take any cabinets down, but that recess in the wall was actually behind a mirror.

So I guess that is the thing to do?

Photo behind a mirror is a South American/Peruvian hoodoo thing. What we were told is that it's a charm to keep the person around--like whoever looks in the mirror will always be with the person in the photograph? It's fascinating... let me see if google can offer more info.

Interesting. I will let Mr. B. know about that.

That looks like it was a fun day! I have dragons like that, but I would never think to affix them to my vehicle. If I had a vehicle, that is.
